Update #4: Looks like this will be a good one... so spread the word, come on out, meet new people, and help support a good cause!... and again, I encourage everyone to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE... Also, the DC Metro 20's and 30's New In Town & New Friends group will be joining well!

Update #3: The House Music, Party & Adventure Meetup, Washington Metro Wine & Dine groups will be joining well! So spread the word, come on out, meet new people, and help support a good cause!

Update #2: Happy Hour Specials will be as follows (until 8:00pm only):
-Half-price Hookahs
-Half-price appetizers
-Half-price Empanadas
-$3 Beer (including Amstel, Stella, Dos Equis)
-$4 Wine
-$4 Cocktails

Update #1: The 80's in DC, DC Euro, DC Night Life, Tysons Singles, Washington DC German Language and Sushi-licious groups will be joining us as well!

We could not have a better venue for a summertime Happy Hour! This is one of my favorite spots in all of DC. A fusion of latin and arabic themes, Chi-Cha lounge has an awesome laid-back vibe to it. And in June the glass doors to the sidewalk will be open, so we'll have a nice summertime breeze to relax us with our drinks!!

We will have our own DJ spinning soft, Paris-house style rhythms to keep us in that funky mood!

And our charity for the month will be Kid Power-DC. Kid Power-DC is a non-profit youth organization that provides youth development programming to nearly 200 youth from underserved communities in the District of Columbia. Yes, this is a local charity, so come out and support them! Donations of $5-$10 are encouraged (but not required). 80% of the donations will be provided to Kid Power-DC, and the remaining 20% retained for Meetup expenses.

New members, don't be shy!! We?ll have a greeting table setup inside by the entrance, and you?ll be welcomed with a warm hello and provided a nametag (yeah, I know, sounds dorky, but it really facilitates the meetup and creates a warm environment). Plus we'll be running an ice-breaker activity to further foster the interaction.

The closest Metro stop is "U St" on the Green/Yellow line.

Look forward to seeing all there!

I'll be there with a visiting French buddy in tow--can't wait for my first 20's/30's meetup for a cause at none other than the Chi-Cha lounge!

       Good times
    •  Never been to Chi-Cha Lounge but really liked it. Didn't talk to as many people as I wanted to, and I didn't find "April" for the icebreaker activity. Enjoyed me some hookah, though.
