Meeting Description

Organized by

"Small venue. I'll wear a black shirt, and I look like my picture. Call my cell- 312.933.6266, if you get lost. We'll try to sit near the stage, so it'll be easy to find us. I'll try to let whoever's taking tickets know where Meetup folks are sitting."

Details

I was up by the Morse Red line this evening, and happened to come across some posters and video for this show. Seemed like a worthwhile evening. I mean, when's the last time you went to a magic show/comedy show/extreme stunt show? Checking out the website, it strikes me as like Penn & Teller on speed, or a fast-paced upgrade to Ringling Bros. I'd like to check it out, who's with me?

From the website:
"Can glass-walking, chainsaw balancing, razor eating, and extreme stunts be fast paced and funny? Yes! Ground breaking, hilarious, and mind blowing...

It can best be described as comedy with some magic and juggling sprinkled on top."

Check out their website for full details, see some video, and to order tickets online.
Flying Cat Circus

Tickets are just $10, and I just read this (dangerous) fact- the venue is BYOB. *sigh*

This is right near the Morse train station- when you get out of the station, make two rights and walk up Glenwood a little more than a block, and No Exit Cafe is on your left. I don't know about parking in that area, though.

Show starts at 9:30, but I said 8:45, just so we can all get seats and get tickets. See you Saturday!
