My NY Giants metup group is having an event to drink and watch football.
I thought I'd open it up to the mile high group even though it's indoors. There will be plenty of drinking.
Come out to the Sky Box Sports Grille to cheer on the Giants as they fight for our playoff lives against the Redskins.
One of our members, Phoebe, had graciously agreed to host us with some free apps or possibly a free buffet dinner (if we can get 20 people.)
SkyBox is conveniently located in Clairemont Square with plenty o parking.
They are kid friendly until 9p, so bring your young ones and hope their isn't OT.
Their Happy Hour lasts until 6p with $3.99 apps and cheap beers. They also have $4 u-call-its all night.
Looking forward to seeing you all, and watching the Gmen take over the last wild card spot.

Nights Out San Diego would like to invite you to an evening at the Belly Up featuring: Have a Cigar (Pink Floyd cover band) - Have a Cigar started out as a tribute band in the truest sense, paying homage to fallen Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright in late 2008 at local open mic sessions. Realizing the intoxicating effect this music had on people, the five Floyd fans pooled their collective talents and focused on presenting the majestic sounds of Pink Floyd to So-cal music fans. Drawing from the many phases of the Floyd catalog, Have a Cigar can blast out note for note versions of much beloved David Gilmore guitar solos as well as using the experimental nature of the band as inspiration to unleash their own creative talents in the spirit of the Floyd. Dazed and Confused (Led Zeppelin cover band) - Dazed and Confused is the proud winner of the 2009 San Diego Music Award in the category of Best Cover or Tribute Band. San Diego’s own Led Zeppelin tribute band and was formed in the Spring of 2006 when the guys noticed a void in the San Diego music scene where many tribute bands thrive. Led Zeppelin was clearly under-represented. With a passion for the music and the legendary live performances, Joe, Jason, Andy and Jeff had the pieces in place to bring the music of Led Zeppelin back to San Diego. Laser Light show by Artistic Laser Productions - Dancing beams that bounce back and forth across the room blend with aerials and animated graphics to set the mood! and DJ Man-Cat mixing a fancy feast of the Hottest Hip-Hop, Techno, Top 40, Mash-ups & more!
So bring your dancing feet and groove to the banging beats as Man-cat keeps the party going all night long! I have arranged to reserve a section in the "tower" area for our group. Normal cover charge for Envy is $20. You'll pay only $10. You'll also receive a coupon for a FREE drink. I'm not talking about well drinks here, I'm talking top shelf types of liquor like Grey Goose, Crown Royal etc., and beer and wine up to a $14 worth. So it's basically like getting in for free.
But you must arrive before 10:00 pm, after that it's a $20 cover. Doors open at 9:00 pm.
Feel free to invite whomever you want to join you. Here's what you need to do (YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS OR YOU WON'T GET IN!!!):
Step 1: RSVP with this meetup group and be sure to include the number of guests you're bringing with you. Step 2: Email me the first and last name/s for you and every guest you are inviting. This is the list that will be used by the doorman, so your name/s have to be on it or they won't let you in. You can find the link to email me in the column on the left below my picture where it says "Organized by". I must have the names by 1:00 PM Friday, December11th. The list will be closed at this time - NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Step 3: You must arrive and get in the door at the club by 10:00 pm to get in FREE. I would recommend you get there before 9:40 since the line gets very long and if you get there at 9:40 pm and the wait is 20 minutes then you will have to pay the full cover of $20. Doors open at 9PM. The VIP line will probably be the longer line, ask if you do not know where the line is. Collared dress shirts are required for the men and heels are required for the women. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you don't RSVP "yes" you won't receive the instructions that I'll be emailing out to all the yes's on Friday afternoon.

I'd like to invite you to join me and a "few" of my friends (well okay there's about 280 of them, but they're nice people) for a little dancing, (clubbing), or just hanging out (lounging) at the Hard Rock Hotel downtown.
Now I realize that may be a little bit of a drive for some of you, but if you've never been to the Hard Rock, it might be worth making the trip. There are a few lounges that will be open to us, let me tell you a little about them. The Hard Rock Hotel is in the center of San Diego’s bustling Gaslamp Quarter. The 207 Bar and the Float poolside bar are popular venues at this San Diego hotel. The ambiance at Float, the dramatic rooftop bar
and lounge overlooking the Gaslamp Quarter, transforms throughout the day. A stylish oasis in the afternoon evolves into a vibrant evening nightspot. 207 is a laid back den of glamour located off the hotel lobby, exudes a more casual atmosphere for conversation over cocktails, catching a game on flat screen TVs or listening to tunes spun by the hottest area DJs. The dramatic bar is accented with black leather, complimented by white crocodile padded bar stools. Oversized crystal chandeliers infuse sexiness to the 207's interior. The venue also features a sprawling outdoor terrace. Come experience the cocktails, music and distinctive design of The Hard Rock Hotel, offering a unique ambience unlike any other in San Diego. Hard Rock Hotel normally only has guest list access on Thursday and Friday and full cover charge of $20 on Saturday, but I've spoken with the Director of VIP and our group will NOT have to pay any cover charge for Saturday November 21st. We'll have access to both 207 and Float. There is one catch, you will need to arrive before 10 pm to get in FREE as part of the guest list. San Diego Singles Connection has been chosen to host Wine Steals' very first Singles Night at their Hillcrest location on Wednesday, November 18th. There were a few issues regarding the service at the Cardiff location. I've spoken with the owner about these and he has guaranteed me that this won't happen again. That's what I call responsive management. They've even added an additional bartender in the back room to expedite service for our group. Singles Night will go from 6 PM to 10 PM with select glasses of red and white wine for $4 and pizza slices for $2 from 6-9 PM. They've now added sliders for $2 as well.
