Ask at the front door for the Meetup Booking for the ASS Group (if you can do this with a straight face, you're doing well!)

In honor of black sheeps everywhere, we're doing Three Bags Full (where a bag is equivalent to 100 ASS members - yes, I know big bag - it's a metaphorical stretch - go with me, here). We're nearly to 300 members and I'm sure we will be by the time this event rolls around. Woohoo!

In the interest of creating an event back in the Columbia area, as well as doing an activity-based event that gets everyone mingling, talking and having fun, we are going to do Trivia Challenge at Columbia Ale House.
This sports bar is in the Long Reach shopping center off of Tamar Drive.

How I envision this working: We can book tables for up to 20 people, so that's where I'm going to cap RSVP at this point. We will divide into 4 or 5 teams once we get there and are all assembled. If you want to be on a waiting list when it hits beyond 20 as I'm sure it will, please email me. Keep checking the event up to the last day as people are often changing RSVPs at that time and by experience, things usually open up a bit.

Since we will need to register (and there may be a nominal fee for this, I'm not sure), PLEASE be on time. Please arrive at 6:30 - trivia doesn't start until 7:30, but we will need to get everyone registered by 7 into teams, so if you wander in after 7, you may miss out on being on a team. For sure, there will be pre-Leap Year post-Valentines Day merriment pre- and post-trivia, so if you just want to come and imbibe and partake, please do so (I understand they have all you can eat crab legs, so don't be shellfish...haaaaaaaaaaaa - I know, I know, bad seafood humor, is there any other kind?)

Reminds me of a movie line - okay, consider this trivia warm-up - come armed with the answer (no Google-cheating) - from what movie is this line: "And I said 'Was he in danger,' and then I said 'Grave danger?' and you said 'Is there any other kind?'" I've even given you a clue in the previous sentence!

I loved trivia at the Green Turtle! I've never played it that way, but it was a great learning experience. I'd like to meet up for a St. Patty's Day thing around here somewhere in March...
    •  The trivia was fun. It was good to work together with strangers as a team. I think it's fun to hang out with ASS. I think a great idea would be to have some type of social games or something that would bring out more communication and opinions and get people to stretch themselves out more socially to those around them to gain more confidence and bring their deeper selves out to get greater value out of being with other similar people. Role playing, improv, those games where you have to figure out what people are trying to communicate, maybe something entirely created to get people to want to talk or be open. Something that'll get people to open up but not put them on the spot in an uncomfortable way and get them to evolve faster socially.
