Working the Wood Lounge Boards...8pm to 9:30pm As I am still working on a 1,000 plus Member Party for Dive Bar.. I realized we hit over 1,200 members... So I am working with Angelo @ The Woods for a Special DBA 1000 Cocktail.. Angelo the Manager is working on it, and I JUST had a taste test this week to confirm its tasty goodness.. The Woods are Maestro's at this cocktail creations, Like their Halloween BlowJob with Whipcream and Pumpkin Spice SHot... We Have the Cocktail and it RockS!!! Introducing THe DBA1000!!!! Cruzan Guava Rum, Peach Snapps, Dash of SourS MiX and a splash of cranberry juice! Lot's of fun in store... Time we meet and make some new acquaintances via Mister Blinky! New to Meetup? Or Dive Bar? I will try to show off my Blinky Goodness later that night down at the Glow Festival in SM with DWS Alot is going on this Night, so if you are new please stop by, we will have the place to ourselves, and its a great place to finally meet and greet all new meetup peeps and hangout... The Woods has Valet and side streets are plenty o'parking, plus Ralphs just down the street on Sunset. Culture Sponges will be dining just around the corner at Robert's Russian Cuisine. Visit Here Early at 6pm. But the Woods doesn't open up until 8pm, so after eating their fill of Borsch and Stroganoff, they may want to wash it down with a night cap... Meanwhile Dive Bar Members need a causal get together and The Woods is one of my favorites. Great jukebox, large back area for seating and at opening at 8pm fairly quiet and plenty of room for Dive Bar members to mingle. The drinks are reasonable, the decor is of course all wood, and vibe is dark and low lit. If you are planning to launch a wild Saturday night or just want to meet other Dive Bar members without a bus or crawl. I Mister Blinky will be your host here at The Woods. As usual look for the Guy with a blinking cocktail Pin... New members? This is a great opportunity to show up and let me introduce you to all our members... Old Timers?     Chris was a great host! I liked that the place was very dark and good music came out of the jukebox. The 1000 DBA drink was sweet!

    This meetup introduced me to a cool new bar, which I may not have experienced otherwise. And, the organizer was friendly and took time to introduce us to some other people involved with the meetup. However, most of the time it just felt like hanging out at new bar with a few people I knew. I'm looking forward to future meetups with this group where do bus tours, etc and actually have something more exciting going on.

    This was a nice double play combination. I enjoyed a nice night cap after noshing on a tasty Russian meal at Robert's. I got to try the DBA 1000 and it was good. I would definitely do this combo again. Thanks Chris for a job well done!
